The newest Sackboy adventure is coming. Sony has announced a Nov. 18 release date for "Little Big Planet 3" via the PlayStation Blog.

The game will be released on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, which means both console generations can play.

There are also tons of pre-order perks available to those who get in on the game early, but they vary greatly based on where you pre-order and how close to the release date you preorder. 

There are Sackboy plushies, including a Target-exclusive one wearing a Target hat so you know you pre-ordered you're game at Target. There are also lots of downloadable costumes for the PS4 versions that vary depending on where you pre-order the game.

Every copy of the "Day One Edition" gets a "Dragon Age Inquisition" costume pack featuring skins from the upcoming BioWare epic, as well as a "4 The Players" pack with costumes from other popular PlayStation games, including Ellie from "The Last of Us" and Delsin from "Infamous: Second Son" 

There are also retailer-exclusive: if you buy at GameStop you get the Mythical Creatures pack, if you shop on Amazon you get the PlayStation Favorites pack, and if you go to Best Buy you get the Hidden Animals pack.

Purchasing the game digitally will include the "Little Big Planet 3" T-shirt Pack, which players can include in "LittleBigPlanet 2,"" LittleBigPlanet" Vita and "LittleBigPlanet" Karting while they wait for the upcoming sequel.

"LittleBigPlanet 3" will be backwards compatible with all LittleBigPlanet and LBP2 levels. It will also feature new playable characters like a sock puppet dog, bird and a friendly giant. Again the US release date is November 18.
