Install Android 4.4.4 KitKat On Samsung Galaxy S3 SGH-I747; AT&T Variant Gets Custom Firmware SOKP ROM

Samsung Galaxy S3 users can now install Android 4.4.4 KitKat update via a custom firmware.

According to International Business Times, a custom ROM has been released for the 2012 Samsung flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S3. SOKP custom ROM can only be installed to the AT&T model of the Samsung Galaxy S3, which bears the model number SHG - I747.

The specs list on GSM Arena noted that the latest and official firmware update available for the Samsung Galaxy S3 SGH-i747 AT&T variant is Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean. But thanks to custom Android developers, Galaxy S3 owners can now experience Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

Users interested to install Android 4.4.4 KitKat update on Samsung Galaxy S3 SGH - i747 AT&T can expect new features and customization options from the Sonic Open Kang Project or SOKP ROM.
