New Pokemon distribution events have been unveiled, and this time, it is actually for North America!

Generally, we report distribution events for Pokemon, but they are always in Japan, but this time, Nat Geo magazine has confirmed two special events that will run in August and September.

Reportedly, Pokemon X and Y gamers have the ability to download either a Heracross or Pinsir over the web from August 13 to September 17. Then, from August 18 to August 31, Gamestop stores will distribute special serial codes to download either a Heracronite or Pinsirite Mega Stones.

It is unclear whether this download will simply be activated for Pokemon X and Y through Wi-fi, but stay tuned for more information, and if these distribution events will come to other regions.

Meanwhile, Japan will hold three distributions events of their own in August!

First up is a special Pikachu event being held at Minato Mirai Park. According to Serebii, this Pikachu event is called Outbreakchu, and will be held from August 9 to August 17. In addition to TCG promotional card giveaways and other attractions, a Pikachu is also available to download.

Meanwhile, the special PokeBall Vivillon has migrated over to Japan. Reportedly, distribution events will be held at Pokemon Centers across Japan from August 1 to August 31, and at the Pokemon Center Summer Festival from August 1 to August 18.

And finally, a shiny Jirachi will be available through distribution events held as a part of the annual Tanabata Festival in Japan. Reportedly, Pokemon Centers in Tohoku will distribute a Level 10 shiny Jirachi with the moves Wish, Swift, Healing Wish, and Moonblast. It will also hold a Star Piece. This distribution event will be available from August 1 to August 31.
