Upcoming Nokia Phones 2014: Nokia's Selfie Lumia Provides Great Value With Tipped Pricing, Expected To Launch By End Of August

One of the upcoming Nokia phones for 2014 is the selfie-ready Superman, which is also known recently as the Lumia 730.

The phone's main attraction is its 5MP front camera, though it may not be that high compared to other Android handsets from Chinese brands like Xiaomi and Huawei.

Still, for people who want to get a Windows Phone 8.1 version, then this is certainly the best selfie-phone available when it gets released.

And in a new report, it looks like the Nokia Lumia 730 will be announced sooner rather than later.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the Nokia handset has already appeared in a Vietnamese retailer website even before any official announcements have been made.

This could mean that the device is just around the corner, and may even see the light of day as early as next week. In the listing, the Nokia Lumia 730 will pack a 4.7-inch display with an HD (1280 x 720) resolution, a quad-core Cortex-A7 chipset clocked at 1.2GHz, Adreno 305 GPU for decent graphics performance, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, hopefully with a microSD card slot.

Oddly, the device listing only includes a 6.5MP resolution for the supposedly primary camera at the back. In a previous report, the same 6.5MP shooter will reportedly complete the camera department for the Lumia 730. We certainly hope those rumors are false.

So far, the Nokia Lumia 730 has two color options and have already appeared in leaked images a few weeks ago. Like previous Lumias, the Lumia 730 will have bright colored cases such as light green and orange.

In the report, the device listing vaguely places the release date by the end of August. This timing is not good for Nokia as it is only a few days from the IFA event in Berlin where Android flagships are expected to launch.
