'Game Of Thrones' Ending Predicted By Fans? George R.R. Martin Confirms News

Many speculations have been made about the bestselling series "Game of Thrones"' ending. George R.R. Martin admits that readers have figured it out.

"So many readers were reading the books with so much attention that they were throwing up some theories and while some of those theories were amusing bull--- and creative, some theories are right. At least one or two readers had put together the extremely subtle and obscure clues that I'd planted in the books and came to the right solution," said the "Song of Ice and Fire" series author in an interview with The Telegraph.

"I want to surprise and delight my reader and take them in directions they didn't see coming," said Martin. But fans who read the series closely apparently found the clues and put them together to forge the "Game of Thrones'" ending and it turned out to be true.

This raises the question of whether or not Geore R.R. Martin will change the story's course.

"I've been planting all these clues that the butler did it, then you're halfway through a series and suddenly thousands of people have figured out that the butler did it, and then you say the chambermaid did it? No, you can't do that," the author said.

"So what do I do then? Do I change it? I wrestled with that issue and I came to the conclusion that changing it would be a disaster, because the clues were there," he added.

George. R. R. Martin's admission on the "Game of Thrones" ending reportedly confirms one of the most popular theories about the series, which is known to fans as "R+L=J," that tackles the parenthood of Jon Snow.

"All you can do is write the best story you can and put it in the hands of posterity. The fact that people are arguing about my books is a sign that I take very well. A writer's real enemy is obscurity," the bestselling author explained.

Martin began writing "A Song of Ice and Fire" in 1991 and is due to come out with two more books from the series.
