Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Specs Revealed In Benchmark, Is Samsung Phablet Enough To Take On 5.5" iPhone 6?

It is just a couple of weeks away before the IFA showcase in Berlin and even as early as now, there are now leaked Samsung Galaxy Note 4 specs which may tell us what the Koreans have in store for us.

According to the report by GSM Arena, the Galaxy Note 4 specs appeared from AnTuTu Benchmark database and shows that the upcoming Android phablet is certainly a beast in terms of performance.

In the database, the Galaxy Note 4 will pack an octa-core Exynos 5433 chip, the one who trumped Qualcomm's Snapdragon 805 in another benchmark. That only shows Samsung certainly aims for its new device to be the fastest in the market when it becomes available in September.

While the benchmark did not list a Qualcomm chipset for the Note 4, the new phablet would most likel get a Snapdragon 805 chip version as well.

Other specs include a 5.7-inch display with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory with a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

The specs rundown also listed a 16MP primary camera, probably supporting OIS+, while the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 runs on Android 4.4.4 Kit Kat out of the box.

But with these kinds of specs, it the Samsung smartphone a worthy rival to the upcoming 5.5-inch iPhone 6?

Dubbed as the iPhone 6L, this edition of the iPhone is rumored to be higher end than the 4.7-inch variant which will make its debut early next month. Some of its notable features include a sapphire display, a new design with rounded edges, Touch ID sensor, A8 chip, and the updated iOS 8.

Android and iOS will clash once more when these two heavyweights get released in the market.
