Johnny Depp's daughter Lily Rose will make her acting debut for "Yoga Hosers" and will work alongside her father.

Kevin Smith has tapped Johnny Depp and daughter Lily Rose to appear on the film, with the latter as one of the leads and the former appearing briefly, said The Wrap.

The film, which is the second installment of Smith's "True North Trilogy," a series of films depicting stories from Canada, will start filming this week, according to Variety.

The 51-year-old actor Johnny Depp and daughter Lily Rose will act alongside Smith's daughter Harley Quinn.

According to a report on Entertainment Online, "Yoga Hosers" is referred to by Smith as a "comic book movie."

The Canadian director reportedly said that "People always ask me 'Are you ever going to make a comic book movie?' This is it - but instead of yet another dude saving the day, our antiheroes are the most feared and formidable creatures man has ever encountered: two 15-year-old-girls."

According to an article by Slash Film, "Yoga Horses" tells the story of two high school students Colleen Collette, which will be played by Depp, and Colleen McKenzie, which will be portrayed by Smith, who are on a quest to fight evil forces.

The Hollywood Reporter said that the film's plot unfolds "when an ancient evil rises from beneath Canada's crust and threatens their big invitation to a Grade 12 party, the Colleens join forces with a legendary man-hunter from Montreal named Guy Lapointe (Depp) to fight for their lives with all seven Chakras, one Warrior Pose at a time."

StarStream Entertainment will produce the film, in partnership with Smith's SModcast Pictures, Abbolita Productions and Invincible Pictures. Jennifer Schwallbach, Liz Destro and Jordan Monsanto are also going to produce.

Members of the production team for "Tusk" are reportedly teaming up for "Yoga Horses" as well, including Michael Parks, Justin Long, Genesis Rodriguez and Haley Joel Osment.
