Oh, and opened the US Open Women's Final on Sunday by singing "God Bless America."

Additionally, Jonas will be releasing his new single, "Jealous," on Sept. 8 (Sept. 7 PST).

The single is a follow-up to "Chains," the first song from Jonas's new album which is set to be released Nov. 11, followed by the club tour.

MTV reported that Jonas opened up about "Jealous" in a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest and provided a little insight into where the lyrics of the song come from.

"I was out with my girlfriend the night before I wrote this song ... and I got heated," said Jonas. "I was doing all this fighting training for this show I just finished up, so I was ready to go. [But] I contained myself ... and I came in the next day to the studio and wrote this song."

In terms of men getting jealous about other guys checking out their girlfriends, the singer added, "A lot of people can relate with this, a lot of men, they don't talk about it, it makes them uncomfortable. But I think vulnerability is good and it's what makes us human."

In preparation for the "Jealous" release, Jonas warmed up his vocal chords by singing "God Bless America" at Sunday's US Open Women's Final match between Serena Williams and Caroline Wozniacki.

While Williams thrilled fans by winning the 2014 US Open title, Jonas couldn't quite keep his mind off of the rest of his big day ahead.
