‘Gotham’ TV Series Cast Jada Pinkett-Smith Excited For Character Fish Mooney; Gets Glam With ‘Young’ Mom For New York Fashion Week 2014;

"Gotham" TV series cast Jada Pinkett-Smith is excited with playing Fish Mooney as she gets clam with her mom, who's looking very young, for the New York Fashion Week 2014.

Speaking to the New York Post, "Gotham" TV series cast Jada Pinkett-Smith said that the show is an origins story, which is a unique take compared to all the superhero TV shows out there. She will play a very colorful mob boss named Fish Mooney.

"We just haven't seen how Batman came to be, and the Joker and the Riddler, and what the mob families were like during the earlier era of Gotham ... so I think that keeps it out of the comparison," she said.

"That, to me, is the most exciting part because you have such an enthusiastic audience already geared in, and that's fun," she added.

Meanwhile, Jada Pinkett-Smith dished out more "Gotham" TV series spoilers toTVGuide when she said that her character, Fish Money, has a penchant to using a baseball bat against her enemies.

"It gets pretty dark because Gotham is Gotham. You're going to see what Gotham is and why we needed Batman," she told the website.

She told host Arsenio Hall in his TV show uploaded on YouTube that fans would be surprised by how she will play Fish Mooney.

"I'm very excited about that (character) because she's quite unique but I think I'm going to surprise people with how I play this particular villain and her vicious ways," she said during her appearance on the "Arsenio Hall Show."

Meanwhile, "Gotham" TV series cast Jada Pinkett-Smith and mom, 59-year-old Adrienne Banfield Jones, got glammed up for Christian Siriano show during the New York Fashion Week 2014.

Will Smith's wife opted for a white blouse and peach chiffon skirt, which she paired up with nude sandals. Her mother, meanwhile, was garbed in a "tight black strapless dress with a peplum ruffle hem," said MailOnline.
