Lindsay Lohan Scandal 2014: ‘Speed-The-Plow’ Actress, Brother Brace For Legal Battle? West End Debut Takes ‘Mean Girls’ Star Out Of ‘Comfort Zone’

Recent Lindsay Lohan scandal 2014 news reveal that the "Speed-The-Plow" actress and her brother together with their business associate Christopher Roth brace for legal battle over their "social shopping community" app as the "Mean Girls" star admitted that her West End debut is taking her out of her "comfort zone."

An article published in Page Six reported about the Lindsay Lohan scandal 2014 saying that the actress and her brother Michael, Jr. together with Roth are being sued by a former business partner for infringement of "proprietary information and intellectual property." The lawsuit was filed by Fima Potik, a tech entrepreneur, who was allegedly the "Speed-The-Plow" actress' associate for Potik's startup company, Spotted Friend.

The mobile application "allows users to access celebrities' and friends' 'virtual closets' to identify the designers and buy items from them," said the report by the news site.

Meanwhile, Michael Jr.'s Vigme is an app that centers around Lindsay Lohan wherein "people see what's in her closet. If someone else buys [the same item], it puts money into Lindsay's pocket."

Fima Potik's lawyer, Marc E. Kasowitz, elaborated on the new Lindsay Lohan scandal 2014 saying: "Prior to their involvement in Vigme, [the Lohans and Roth] were members of Spotted Friend LLC, a social commerce startup that was founded by Fima Potik in 2013. It is Mr. Potik - not the Lohans - that created and developed the idea for a mobile application that allows users to access celebrities' and friends' 'virtual closets' and to directly purchase fashion items and accessories from these 'virtual closets.'"

Meanwhile, the actress said during an interview with DailyMail at the GQ Men of the Year Awards that her West End debut via "Speed-The-Plow" is out of her "comfort zone."

The "Mean Girls" star claimed that while she has been acting since she was a kid, the gig is "something completely different."

Lindsay Lohan said of her "Speed-The-Plow" theater debut: "'I'm working hard, and yesterday was my first day of reading lines on stage. It was hard work and very scary, but that was what I came prepared for."
