Keira Knightley Grabs Attention With Multi-Colored Chanel Dress Promoting ‘Imitation Game’ At TIFF 2014; Movie Predicted To Grab Oscar’s

Keira Knightley's multi-colored, flared Chanel dress attracted the attention of the crowd present during the Toronto International Film Festival  (TIFF) 2014 on Monday as she and other co-stars promoted the upcoming movie "The Imitation Game". In the event which is held at the Hort Renfrew, the Begin Again-actress received praises for her unique fashion sense from the movie director, Morten Tyldum.

"The first thing Keira said to me was that she didn't want to be glamorous. You put her in a sack and she'd look glamorous!' Morten Tyldum told the interviewers further explaining that Knightley's character in the movie need the 'ugliest clothes' to comply her role as Joan Clark, one of those who corroborated with Alan Turing, portrayed by Benedict Cumberbatch, in deciphering the Enigma code in the World War II.

In the movie's first world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado, the Pride and Prejudice megastar received positive comments from movie critic Todd McCarthey as being  'alive, alert and altogether sympathetic'. Reports from Radiotimes and Hollywood Reporter labeled the Imitation Game as film "engrossing, nicely textured and sadly tragic".

Further, critics from Variety and Deadline are optimistic that the movie will be nominated for the Oscars for its unique execution of Alan Turing's Sherlockian character. As Deadline wrote, "this one just has Academy Award nominations written all over it."

Meanwhile, reports from LatinPost revealed the 29-year old actress's plan to open her fashion store in London. This plan is said to be Knightley's 'experiments outside the acting world'. The said shop is said to contain creations from local Americans and international designers.

"She's a huge fan of fashion, particularly anything vintage or alternative, so it's a perfect new opportunity. She's excited by the idea and is committed to making it work" reports from The Sunday Mirror further elaborated.

The Imitation game is set to have its first premiere on November 14 in the UK.
