Now it has been a matter of she said, he said.

Iggy Azalea, the rap artist now embroiled in a controversy over a purported sex tape wrote on her Twitter that she doesn't have a sex tape, but her ex-boyfriend Hefe Wine confirmed that it is indeed the Australian rapper on record.

ABC News meanwhile quoted Iggy's tweet pertaining to the alleged sex tape.

"I don't have a sex tape but for the record..." Iggy further added, "Anyone who releases or attempts to make profit off someone else's intimate moments against their will is a sex offender."

Iggy also took a potshot against the media who encourages such behavior. "It honestly makes me sick to see the media encourage any other attitude towards those sorts of people, we should want to protect our women ... and i really hope that America will follow Europe and their laws to better protect peoples privacy and fundamental rights."

The ABC report was published Sept. 12 but another article stated that Wine is sure that the rap sensation knew that she was being taped, but denied being behind the leak of the tape, Complex reported.

The article also stated that Wine, a Houston rapper, claimed that his computer containing the alleged sex tape was stolen.
