Hello Kitty Flights Launched: Taiwanese Airline EVA Air Flies Between Taipei and Los Angeles on World's Most Adorable Plane [PHOTO]

The Malay Mail Online reports that Taiwanese airline EVA Air is now operating Hello Kitty flights. That's right, Hello Kitty themed airplanes. Hello Kitty planes are currently only flying passengers from Taipei to Los Angeles. However, they will soon be making stops in Paris in order to celebrate Hello Kitty's 40th birthday.

Taiwanese carrier EVA partnered with the Japanese owners of the Hello Kitty license in order to bring about what is possibly the world's cutest airplane.

Unsurprisingly, the amount of Hello Kitty memorabilia on the planes is enormous. According to the Huffington Post, not only do the planes feature Hello Kitty scenes on their exteriors, they pay special attention to their interior decoration as well. This includes Hello Kitty luggage tags for each passenger, Hello Kitty drink coasters and headrests, Hello Kitty soap and toilet paper in the bathroom, Hello Kitty themed meals, and Hello Kitty themed safety instruction cards. Flight attendants even wear pink aprons and cute whiskers.

EVA has operated Hello Kitty flights between Taipei and Los Angeles since September 2013, and so far, the plane has flown three Hello Kitty flights per week between Taipei and Los Angeles. However, the carrier will soon launch the same offer to and from Paris starting October 29.

The Huffington Post reports that the new Paris flights will boast new Hello Kitty themed silverware, placemats, and a new Hello Kitty menu. Similar to its current Los Angeles schedule, the flight will fly between Taipei and Paris three times a week.

Japanese Sanrio representatives say they designed the Hello Kitty flights in order to "make flying fun and spread happiness among passengers all over the globe." EVA Air encourages its customers to take photos of the flights and its many Hello Kitty themed aspects and share them on social media.

Reservations for the flights are already open at this location.
