John Travolta Gay Rumors Mere Ploy To Take Money? The Forger Actor Acknowledges Familiarity With Tragedy

John Travolta gay rumors have been finally addressed as the "The Forger" actor claim the entire controversy is a mere ploy to take money. Kelly Preston's husband meanwhile said, in relation with his new movie, that he is familiar with tragedy.

Doug Gotterba, a former pilot of the movie star, recently made headlines when he started the John Travolta gay rumors after claiming that he and the actor had a six-year relationship when he was still working for him.

In a report earlier published by The Hollywood Gossip, Gotterba claimed that it was Travolta who seduced him way back in 1981. But the pilot reportedly can no longer handle the actor's "insatiable sex drive" that they eventually split in 1987. The alleged lover is even planning on releasing a tell-all book to shed more details of the supposed affair

During an interview with The Daily Beast, the actor has finally said his piece about the issue.

"This is every celebrity's Achilles heel. It's just about people wanting money. That's all. It happens on many levels," he said about the John Travolta gay rumors.

He even said that allegations such as the existing rumor is something he doesn't care much about and that he lets "all the media stuff go a long time ago because I can't control it."

While intrigues do not get him easily, Kelly Preston's husband said that getting his family involved in the issue is what gets him.

"I found it most offensive with the loss of my son. I felt like that was the lowest I'd ever felt. Sex stuff is always going to be interesting to somebody, but you stay away from family. You really should," John Travolta added.

But despite the John Travolta gay rumors, he and his wife Kelly Preston have shown a united front as they were recently seen together attending a Church of Scientology event. The actor is also dismissing the controversy by getting busy promoting his new film "The Forger," a movie that forces his character to face personal tragedy.

"I've experienced so much tragedy in my life, I didn't feel the need to explore it any more," the actor reportedly said in a press conference at the Toronto International Film Festival per Toronto Sun.

"Tragedy is something I am very familiar with, so I did not need to research that," he added.
