The Viber messaging app now offers free communications via voice, text and video, in different platforms.

The Viber messaging app offers the said new feature in Android, iOS and PC, according to the report of the Headlines & Global News.

"We're delighted to bring video calling to mobile", said Talmon Marco, Viber CEO. "Now you can make video calls from your phone as well as on the desktop, they can always talk in the way that's most convenient for them, wherever they happen to be", Marco said in the report of the Next Digit.

Aside from the free calls, the Viber messaging app offer sync with contact lists for calls and messages, can download more stickers, available in many languages, video message, voice message, photo sharing, group chat, emoticons, stickers and text.

"The technique used behind Viber is Voice Over IP (VOIP) which delivers voice communication and multimedia sessions over Internet Protocol (IP) networks. This application was initially developed for the smartphones where the users are offered to make a free calls and also messages," according to the report of the Next Digit.

Furthermore, the Viber messaging app has a 5.0 version which supports languages, including Bulgarian, Serbian and Persian. The said version is applicable on Android device 4.0 or above and iOS 6 or later, the user can share video calls in desktop and mobile.

Another version is the Viber 5.0 or iOS device which offers an improvement in forwarding photo and video messages.

The Viber messaging app is available for free download from Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
