According to CineLens news letter, the most anticipated sports camera, GoPro Hero 4 is slated for release March of 2015. Earlier this year, GoPro fanatics speculated that Hero 4 will be released before the end of 2014 just like the GoPro Hero2 and GoPro Hero 3 in the previous years. Unfortunately, that will not happen.

GoPro Hero series are being enjoyed by extreme sports lovers because of its ability to capture live action videos in rough road and while even on air. It is a Iightweight camera that can be attach to helmets, bicycles, 4x4 trucks, BMX or even ski poles and is often used in extreme sports, leisure and even game shows to capture more of the emotions of the players.

GoPro first introduced its Hero series on 2004 at San Diego's Action Sports Retailer Game Show. It started as a 35mm camera and immediately sold up to $180,000.

It was said that the Hero 4's specs is the Cortex-A9 Processor chip with FPU accelerator. This made Hero 4 more powerful than its predecessor, Hero 3. It also means that it can record videos in 4K resolution at a speed of 30 frames per second. A9 also allows user to capture footage of 1080p at the rate of 120 frames per second. This will result in producing a finer recording. Hero 4 will be a 13 megapixel camera with an improved new lens that can shoot even in the dark. Moreover, Hero 4 is a waterproof camera because of its flat lens and waterproof housing. It can go under the water for up to 60m deep.

Uploading in social media would also be as easy as a,b,c because the camera will also have Wi-Fi module as well as USB and HDMI port that can easily connect to other devices for easier upload and transfer.
