iPad Mini 3 Release Date Will Be Next Month Tipped By Apple Itself, iPad Air 2, OS X Yosemite Making Rumored To Make Debuts As Well

You may be looking forward for the iPad mini 3 release date, and you thought that it would be announced alongside the new iPhones. Alas, it was not even hinted.

Fortunately, there are reports pointing to a release date of the new Retina mini and the iPad Air 2 some time in October.

According to a report by GSM Arena, The Daily Dot mentions that Apple may release its well-loved tablet lineup on October 21.

For the past months, we have been hearing a lot about the upcoming iPads, and some rumors point out to some specs which include a Touch ID home button, the new A8 chipset that supports 64-bit applications, and the new iOS 8 version of Apple's operating system.

However, in addition to the new iPads, the report also claims that OS X Yosemite would also make its debut.

But in that case, could it mean that the next generation MacBook Pros and Airs are coming to town as well?

Earlier this year, the MacBook Airs got a refreshed version which packs better performance and an even more impressive battery life. Last year, the 13-inch MacBook Pro did not get any updates, though the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro Retina laptops were announced.

Following Apple's trend, the Cupertino manufacturer may be launching an improved version of its 13" MacBook Pro. While there are rumors pointing to a 12-inch MacBook Air, we better take those rumors with more than a pinch of salt.
