The highly anticipated spy movie "James Bond 24" gets a starting date! According to Variety, the film is about to shoot on Dec. 6 at Pinewoods Studios.

One thing that sets James Bond movie apart from all the other spy movies is its villain. The franchise has been very famous not only with its top of the line gadgets and death defying stunts but with its bad guys as well.

Recently "12 Years A Slave" star Chiwetel Ejiofor is being rumored to be included in James Bond 24 movie cast, where he will play the villain role according to Variety.

According to the famous entertainment magazine, Ejiofor is on producers' top list. Apparently, they were impressed with how Oscar-winner Javier Barden delivered on "Skyfall" that they are inspired to tap Chiwetel Ejiofor for the villain role. They are said to be looking for one British woman and one Scandinavian to play the Bond girls.

A recent update on Ejiofor's IMDb profile includes "James Bond 24" among the actor's movie list.

Another Hollywood A-lister is rumored to appear on the James Bond 24 movie, John Travolta has expressed his interest in taking on the "bad guy" role as well.

During his interview with The Daily Telegraph's Celia Walden, he revealed that his "tough guy" image for his movie projects like "The Forger" and the yet to be released mobster's biopic where he plays the role of John Gotti hasn't satisfied his inclinations yet.

Travolta's desire is to "close the chapter on playing villains" with a bang. He claims that playing a villain in a Bond movie would very much satisfy his penchant saying, "I would love that. They're going a different way with their villain in this next film but I've spoken to Barbara Broccoli (a producer) about it and she loves the idea, so that would be great."

In addition, celebrity names like Benedict Cumberbatch who voiced the evil "Smaug" in the recently released "The Hobbit" and even Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) have been rumored to take on the role of a villain as well.

Hence, there is no confirmation yet as to who will play the sought after role for James Bond 24 movie cast.

Meanwhile, the hunky British spy Daniel Craig will be returning to reprise his role in the 24^th James Bond film together with his co-stars Naomie Harris as MI6's head secretary Eve Moneypenny, Ben Whishaw as the wizard inventor "Q," and Ralph Fiennes to become the new "M," and will serve as Bond's boss on his future missions.
