‘Criminal Minds’ Season 10 Spoilers: Episode 3 Will Be A ‘Big’ One, ‘Largest Disaster’ In TV Series With Mass Casualties

New "Criminal Minds" season 10 spoilers reveal that episode 3 is going to be a "big" one, with the "largest disaster" and mass casualties in the history of the CBS series.

Executive producer Erica Messer told TVLine that "Criminal Minds" season 10, episode 3 is going to pack quite a punch: she called the episode a "big" one, as the team is called to the site of "one of the largest disasters with mass casualties they've seen in their 10-year history."

Early episodes in "Criminal Minds" season 10 will also touch on how the "traumatic" season finale shooting affected both Garcia and Reid "more than we know."

As we previously reported, Aaron Hotchner actor Thomas Gibson spilled some "Criminal Minds" season 10 spoilers to E! Online about the text his character received in the season 9 finale: "You'll find out what it says and it's important."

In May, "Criminal Minds" executive producer Erica Messer spoke about the text Hotch received with TVGuide when asked if the message was from Blake (Jeanne Tripplehorn).

"It was intended to be a text from her, but we won't know for sure until next season," Messer said.

The BAU team will welcome a new agent, Kate Callahan, played by Jennifer Love Hewitt in the season 10 premiere!

According to TVLine, the synopsis for "Criminal Minds" season 10, episode 1 reads: "The BAU team investigates a series of murders in Bakersfield, Calif., which have left the victims unidentifiable. Also, the team welcomes new agent Kate Callahan (The Client List's Jennifer Love Hewitt) into the BAU fold."

The episode is called "X." The premiere date is Wednesday, October 1 at 9pm on CBS.

Episode 3, titled "A Thousand Sun," is scheduled to air October 15 on CBS.
