Microsoft is offering a number of great bundles for Christmas involving the Xbox 360 console. Those who are looking for a great DVD player/game console might be interested to avail of the package for the entire family.

In a report by Kitguru.net, the first bundle will be available in a new color scheme - dark blue with turquoise trim. The bundled controller will also feature the new colors when people purchase at Walmart. The system will include 500 GB of memory. Individuals who like games will like the bundled games which feature a physical copy of Call of Duty: Ghosts. A download code for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will also be provided, plus one month of Xbox Live Gold. The one-month privilege allows gamers to play online as well as access special Live features from the internet. The first bundle will be available at about $250.

The second bundle for Christmas is a 4GB Kinect system, which will be available at Target. The package comes with a Kinect motion tracking camera. The camera is no longer available from the Xbox One bundle. There will also be a number of games added such as Kinect Sports, Kinect Adventures and Forza Horizon. The second bundle will be available at $250.

According to Microsoft, one or both bundles may be offered in other areas worldwide. The blue bundle, however, will only be available at Walmart until supplies last.

Cnet.com writes that Microsoft replaced Xbox 360 with the Xbox One in 2013 and is most likely planning to boost profitability from the older console by offering great bundles. The company stated that it still views the Xbox 360 as a vital part of its product lineup.
