Garth Brooks Adds Kentucky Stop on `The Garth Brooks World Tour With Trisha Yearwood’ Comeback Tour; The Guy In the Stetson Will Spend Halloween in the Bluegrass State

Garth Brooks pulled the Bluegrass state out of his Stetson as he deals out tour dates like a blackjack dealer, one stop at a time. This will be Garth Brook's first show in Kentucky in 16 years.

Last week, Brooks opened "The Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood" comeback tour in Chicago. Brooks will be playing 11 shows in the area but he's keeping up a strategy of suspense. Brooks' tour is expected to span three years. Garth Brooks announced comeback plans in December.

Brooks will perform at the Rupp Arena in Lexington on Halloween, Oct. 31, Lexington is about three hours away from Nashville, making this the closest Brooks will hit the country music capital on his world tour. Well, so far. He's playing it close to the leather vest.

Tickets for the Rupp Arena show go on sale September 26 at 10 a.m.

Last year, Brooks told media outlets "The whole goal in life is to make whatever you've done before look small. So, the 2014 world tour will be the first of probably a three-year world tour. I'm excited. I'm very excited."

Before he started the tour on September 4, Brooks opened up about his wife and tour mate, Trisha Yearwood, saying his band members "stand up a little taller" when comes onstage to sing. Brooks said "I can't stand to spend a day without her." In Chicago, the pair put did a duo on their 1997 hit single "In Another's Eyes."

Brooks recently unveiled GhostTunes.com, a new online music store that will see the digital debut of the "Brooks Bundle," which will feature Garth's complete catalog, including the pre-order of his two upcoming albums.

The new double live 25th Anniversary Edition features 30 songs along with 30 videos, an instant download of the new single, "People Loving People" and the bonus track, "Send 'Em On Down The Road."
