Last Monday, the first official "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" trailer has been released and fans were able to have a glimpse of Katniss Everdeen's torment.

In the trailer, Katniss teams up with her childhood friend Gale Hawthorne in her quest to save Peeta Melark. Despite the chaos in her personal life, Katniss has to put on a brave front because people deem her as a symbol of hope.

"I never wanted any of this. I never wanted to be in the Games. I just wanted to save my sister and keep Peeta alive," she told President Snow.

He might be known for being cruel and manipulative but Donald Sutherland's character responded profoundly: "Ms. Everdeen, it's the things we love most that destroy us," Snow, played by Donald Sutherland, ominously replies.

As opposed to the previous movies, 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' will deviate from the arena. With Katniss as leader, the film will focus more on war scenes and political conflicts because of rebellion. Katniss and Peeta's relationship will likewise be tested because the Capitol has tortured and brainwashed Peeta.

Peeta's love for Katniss has been replaced by grudge and he'd do anything just to ensure the death of his former lady love. Fans of the trilogy are looking forward for Jennifer Lawrence's portrayal of the character.

Recently, Lawrence's character, Katniss, was named as the highest-grossing action movie heroine in the Guinness Book of World Records 2015.

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" is scheduled for release on November 21 while its final film will come out a year later.
