Star Mama, June Shanon of the popular American reality TV series on TLC, 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo', has separated from her longstanding partner, Mike 'Sugar Bear' Thompson. Shanon confirmed the separation in her statement to famous gossip website, TMZ. 

The 35-year-old, star mom explained that in an effort to investigate their relation and to be able take an appropriate next step, she and 'Sugar Bear' have taken some time apart.

In a joint statement, the pair said, "Sugar Bear and I have decided to take some time apart to figure out some things in our relationship."

June acknowledged the love and support fans continuously offered when she needed it and said, "We are taking things day by day but regardless of what happens the girls will always be our #1 priority. We want to thank ya'll for your support."

Though, June did not reveal the reason for the split, sources close to the matter stated that June was convinced that Thompson was cheating on her by the means of numerous dating websites including, 'PlentyOfFish'. Allegedly, Thompson requested long-term relationship in a profile he created on a dating website and even listed family's hometown, McIntyre, Georgia as his location.

His profile read, "I love to hunt fish and ride 4wheelers and have a good time. I like spending time at home watching movies cuddling spending time with family. I love muddy Boggs and love to ride in the mudd."

Nevertheless, it is yet to be confirmed, that the profile which now is removed from the website, was indeed created by Thompson.

Ironically, the pair who got engaged last year in a commitment ceremony too met on an online dating website nine years ago and have one child together, Alana Thompson alias 'Honey Boo Boo' around whom the TV series revolves around.
