Upcoming Samsung Phones 2014: The New Smartphone Could Be A Better Option For You Than Galaxy Note 4, Boasts 6" Display, 1.5GB RAM, Quad-Core CP

In spite all of the major releases by the Korean manufacturer, it looks like upcoming Samsung phones for 2014 will keep coming.

According to a report by GSM Arena, another Galaxy handset was spotted, this time in Samsung's website in Thailand.

The device will be the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2, the company's newest addition to its phablet midranger lineup. And it certainly is the best of the previous versions.

In the report, the Android-powered handset boasts a 6-inch this display, which is in-between the 6.3 and 5.7 models last year. The phone packs a quad-core CPU, an Exynos 4415 chipset, 1.5GB of RAM and LTE connectivity.

Other specs include an 8 megapixel camera, a 2.1MP front cam, and an option for dual-SIM compatibility.

Unfortunately, there are still no announcement or pricing details for the said smartphone. But considering this is an updated version of the Galaxy Mega phones, we can expect a decent pricing for the Android-powered handset.

Samsung is tireless this year when it comes to releasing smartphones in all price ranges - from entry level, midrange up to flagship level.

However, the competition in the Android world is becoming stiffer by the minute, and with Chinese manufacturers dethroning Samsung from its pedestal in market share in China, the Korean tech giant is looking for more ways to dominate the Asian market, which amounts for half of the smartphones used in the world.

No matter what type of phone you are thinking, Samsung more or less has an answer for it that you may find interesting.

Let's hope if this shotgun strategy can still keep the company afloat amidst the competition.
