Xbox 360 owners can now get "Halo: Reach" without any cost at all as it is one of the free games for Xbox Live Gold members for September 2014.

Microsoft announced earlier this month the set of free games for Xbox Live Gold members, under its program called "Games With Gold." According to a post on MajorNelson.com, one of the free games for Xbox 360 users with Xbox Live Gold subscription is the Bungie shooter game, "Halo: Reach."

As described on Wikipedia, "Halo: Reach" is set "in the year 2552, where humanity is locked in a war with the alien Covenant." As for the gameplay, the players "control Noble Six, a member of an elite supersoldier squad, when the human world known as Reach falls under Covenant attack."

"Halo: Reach" replaces the first free Xbox 360 game for this month, which is "Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine." The game was available for 0 Microsoft Point during the first half of September.

Aside from the free Xbox 360 games for Xbox Live Gold members, Microsoft is also offering 2 Xbox One titles for free this month.

The list of free games for Xbox Live Gold members for September 2014 includes "Crimson Dragon," which was already free on August. "Super Time Force" is another one of the free games for Xbox Live Gold members available for the Xbox One users. Unlike the free Xbox 360 games, both Xbox One titles are free for the entire month via "Games With Gold" for September.

Aside from the free games for Xbox Live Gold members for September 2014, players can purchase more Xbox titles with discounts via Xbox Deals With Gold.

Microsoft's Deals With Gold Week 10 offers a number of Xbox 360 and Xbox One games on sale. This is the last day for Xbox Live Gold members to get "Metro Last Light" with 67% price markdown, as well as "Metro 2033" with 75% discount. Both titles are available for Xbox 360 console.

In addition to Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light, other discounted Xbox 360 titles via Deals With Gold are "Eternal Sonata," "Tales of Vesperia," "Pac Man & the Ghostly Adventures," and "LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game." Various add-ons are also available, with discounts that are as high as 80 percent.

For the Xbox One users with Gold membership, Valiant Hearts is available with 33% off its original price. Discounted add-ons are Killer Instinct Season 1 Retro Costume Pack and Battlefield 4 Engineer Shortcut Kit.
