Lauryn Hill's London concert was deemed "disastrous" by her fans and they weren't shy to share their dismay over the incident on Twitter.

Fans who flocked Lauryn Hill's London concert at the O2 Brixton Academy were angered as the singer reportedly arrived an hour and a half late for her show.

Apart from the tardiness of the former The Fugees singer, the DJ who was supposed to set the vibe for the gig received negative feedback from the audience.

After waiting for 90 minutes, Lauren Hill arrived and started to perform but only to cause more dismay. The singer reportedly performed rearranged songs from her solo album "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill," which deviate largely from the original versions.

A review by James Hall for The Telegraph wrote about Lauryn Hill's London concert, saying: "Hill's superb back catalogue should have rendered her tardiness moot within minutes of her arrival ... But what she gave us - sadly - was a 78-minute lesson in how to murder your own best songs."

Adding to the disappointment of not experience songs they know and love, the venue also reportedly had bad acoustics.

As a result, Lauryn Hill's London concert became trending online.

A fan who goes by the name @sallyduhig on Twitter shared her dismay over the concert, saying: "#LaurynHill #brixton waited years to see Miss Hill only to hear her bastardise every song to the point of unrecognisable! Utter shite!"

@LeoFedorico shared: "Think I've just witnessed the worst version of 'Everything is everything' by #LaurynHill by Lauryn Hill."

@SeanDDonnelly recounted the concert, saying: "#laurynhill at #brixton was such a frustrating experience. Her voice is still beautiful but she killed any momentum again and again. Avoid."

While Lauryn Hill's London concert appear to be disastrous, it wasn't the first gig the singer showed up late to. TMZ reported that Hill arrived late for a concert in Chicago in July and got mad and lashed out at a fan for being "disrespectful."
