Mindy Kaling’s show returned for the third season on FOX last week. FOX network’s rom-com has lots more Mindy and Danny plot twists in store for its viewers.

According to TVGuide.com, in season 3 episode 2 of ‘The Mindy Project’, Mindy will try to get on the good side of Danny’s mother as she comes to visit her son in New York.

“Mindy strives to impress Danny's mom when she comes to the city for a visit. Meanwhile, Morgan tries to stand his ground in his relationship with Tamra.”

And we are sure that we will see how Chris Messina’s New York inspired character, Danny Castellano change and evolve this season. After season 3 episode 1 aired, New York Post interviewed the choreographer of the bedroom scene in the season premiere. Little did the interviewer know that Chris Messina did a fair bit of choreographing himself!

The choreographer for the episode was the brains behind ‘Magic Mike’. Alison Faulk came into the filming with a bunch of ideas, but was quickly outshone by Chris Messina’s intuition and talent.

“I was pretty well prepped as far as the arsenal of male strip moves,” she told The Post. “[But Messina] had a couple of ideas. We originally wanted him crawling on the floor . . . and he was like, ‘Why don’t I do it on the bed?’ ”

According to New York Post, Chris Messina “got it down pat in just one two-hour session,” thanks to his background in dancing.
