Girls' Generation member Sooyoung shared about the difficulties of playing the violist in her upcoming first drama.

Sooyoung attended the press conference yesterday, Tuesday, for tvN's Wednesday and Thursday drama "The 3rd Hospital" along with the leading casts of Kim Seung Woo, Oh Ji Ho, and Kim Min Jung.

Sooyoung receiving acting lessons since her trainee days has been casted for her first leading role in a drama since her debut. Playing the role of a "Lee Eu Jin," a violist Sooyoung shared, "As my mother graduated from music school, I am familiar with listening to classical music. However as I am in the pop song world, I need to familiarize myself with classical music again."

She added, "Since I never had any training playing a musical instrument it's been tough. However now I'm thinking of continuing my lesson and practice viola as it's a great addition to my portfolio."

The upcoming drama "The 3rd Hospital" starring Kim Seung Woo, Oh Ji Ho, Kim Min Jung and Sooyoung is scheduled to begin airing on tvN beginning September 5.
