'Mistresses' Season 3 Casting News: Alyssa Milano quit "Mistresses" because production on the show is moving to Canada. Alyssa Milano says she can't uproot her new baby girl. Mistresses producers have not yet said whether Milano's character, Savannah "Savi" Davis, will be recast or written out of the story.

Earlier this month, former "Charmed" star Alysa Milano and her husband, David Bugliari, welcomed their second child, a daughter named Elizabeth. Alysa and David already have a son, Milo, 3.

ABC recently announced that Mistresses renewed for another season.

Alyssa Milano posted the news to Twitter, Instagram saying , "Sadly, I won't be returning to #Mistresses."

Milano also took to her own website to explain "It's with a heavy heart that I have decided that I can't relocate. ... After two wonderful seasons in Los Angeles, the studio has decided to shoot Season 3 of Mistresses in Vancouver, Canada for financial reasons. It's with a heavy heart that I have decided that I can't relocate. I have two babies under 4. Being a mother and wife comes first, and I just can not uproot my children and separate the family by moving away."

Just weeks after giving birth to daughter Elizabella Dylan Bugliari, Milano says "being a mother and wife comes first."

Milano announcement came on the same day as new that Yvette Nicole Brown announced that she wouldn't be returning to Community because she is taking care of her ailing father.

On Mistresses, Alyssa starred as lawyer Savannah 'Savi' Davis. Mistresses season two ended with Milano's character witnessing her ex-husband Harry, played by Brett Tucker, and her sister Joss, played by Jess Macallan, in a hot embrace. Mistresses debuted in June 2013. Mistresses season two ran this summer. The show has hovered around 4 million viewers its entire run.

Mistresses also stars Rochelle Aytes and Yunjin Kim.
