According to Hypable, "Tune in tonight for Red Band Society season 1, episode 3 "Liar, Liar Pants on Fire" to learn more about Jordi's past. Last week on Red Band Society, we found out that poor Jordi (Nolan Sotillo)'s cancer has spread. Dr. McAndrew (Dave Annable) needs his guardian's consent to perform another operation, but Jordi's grandmother does not believe in modern medicine...At least that's the story he's telling. Through flashbacks, tonight's episode will tell us a bit more about Jordi's past, and when McAndrew's fling from the night before turns out to be connected to Jordi, we find out that he hasn't quite been telling the truth. Meanwhile, Kara (Zoe Levin) is finding ways to continue abusing drugs and alcohol, despite the fact that it jeopardises her chances of getting a new heart. Ah yes, the self-sabotage is strong with this one. Nurse Jackson (Octavia Spencer) catches her obtaining drugs from an orderly, but we have to wonder if she'll be able to talk sense into Kara, or whether her preaching will fall on deaf ears. [In] the sneak peek for tonight's episode, Nolan Sotillo teases the "huge bombshell" that will ruin Jordi's story. The sneak peek also reveals a future romance: Dr. McAndrew and Nurse Brittany (Rebecca Rittenhouse). And speaking of pairings: Charlie Rowe and Ciara Chota talk about the relationship between their characters Leo and Emma, and Rowe teases that, "We start to understand the little triangle that's going on, and you start to understand the jealousy of Leo and Jordi."
