It has been revealed that singer IU has been receiving many love calls for dramas.

IU's representative stated, "She's received about 10 drama casting offers so far. We're looking into these dramas, but besides her international schedules, there aren't any plans set for sure. We're planning a variety of activities for her."

IU appeared in last year's KBS "Dream High" making her acting debut. The singer is currently at the London Olympics to support the Korean athletes and will return by Saturday.

Also, IU will be participating in a Japanese concert. IU will hold her Japanese concert, 'IU Friendship Special Concert Fall 2012' on September 17th at the Tokyo Forum A Hall. It will have been 6 months since she last went to Japan and will also be her first overseas solo concert.

 IU is also doing well on the Japanese music charts, ranking fourth on the Oricon daily singles chart with "You and I," which was released on July 18th.
