In episode 45, Ash encounters a pair of brothers with their respective Meowstic. As the brothers return home, their father decides to set a test for them to compete against each other to become the successor. Ash accidentally gets involved to help, but who will win?

The episode after that, "Ninja Art Showdown! Frogadier VS Barbarcle!!" will air on December 11 according to CharePaffe magazine, meaning there will be a one week hiatus on December 4.
