As Pokemon X and Y fans anticipated Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, a new distribution event has begun in the USA and worldwide.

No doubt to celebrate the upcoming Halloween season, a new online distribution event has begun featuring a Super Size Pumpkaboo for the month of October.

According to Serebii, the Pumpkaboo will hold a Rocky Helmet, plus the moves Trick-or-Treat and Scary Face. In addition, this Super Size Pumpkaboo also can hold the Hidden Ability Insomnia, which has not been made available to Super Size Pumpkaboo or Gourgeist until now.

If you want to take advantage of this distribution event, it is not available until October 31 in North America as well as Europe.

Meanwhile, several Battle Competitions are currently running, with new ones announced for Pokemon X and Y.

The current Battle Competition is the Hoenn Pokemon NicoNico Match. This Battle Competition is a Double Battle competition that requires the usage of Pokemon in the National Pokedex between 252 and 384. However, it only requires one of the following, Kyogre, Groudon or Rayquaza. Reportedly, all Pokemon entered into battle are lowered to Level 25.

Registration will run from October 2 until October 10, while the Competition will run from October 10 until October 14, and participation will garner players 2525 PokeMiles.
