Carrie Underwood Pregnant: Country Superstar Carrie Underwood says a baby bump might be an easier production than recording an album, Underwood just released a new album right around the same time that she learned she also has a whole new source of material.

Underwood is expecting her first child with her NHL husband Mike Fisher. Carrie Underwood still can't believe she's pregnant, but she says she's having an easy pregnancy so far.

Underwood told CMT's Cody Alan "I feel really good," she said. "I think I've been really lucky in my symptoms, thus far."

The world learned that the American Idol winner was pregnant on Friday Sept. 26, when Carrie Underwood debuted baby bump on NBC's Today Show.

Now Underwood's biggest problem is getting in and out of a department store.

Speaking to the CMT Hot 20 Countdown, Underwood said "We went to Babies R Us and we were walking around and I was, like, 'This is just so overwhelming!" The countdown airs on Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m.

"I just don't want to get the wrong things, you know," the 31-year-old country superstar added. "I don't know what most of it does. There are, like, 5,000 things to choose from, and I'm like, 'Do we need that?! I don't know!'"

Carrie has been married to Fisher, 34, since 2010.

In the past, Carrie has said she'd love to have two kids, but not too many more than that. She told Self magazine "Three is fine. Four? Somebody's getting something done, because we ain't having five!"

Underwood recently covered R.E.M.'s song "Everybody Hurts," from their 1993 "Automatic for the People" album, at the Global Citizen Festival in New York City's Central Park. The concert also featured Jay Z, Beyoncé and No Doubt.

The concert was held to aid the Global Poverty Project.

"They're so many causes; you can find something that you're really passionate about," Underwood said.
