Vertu's Latest Phone Named As Aster With A $6,800 Price Tag, What Makes It Different From Other Handsets?

The Vertu has launched a new smartphone following the Signature Touch back in June. The Vertu new phone is called as the Aster.

In the report of Yahoo, the Aster's screen size, measure 4.7 inches and has 1080p resolution. It is covered with a 5.1-inch piece of fifth-generation sapphire crystal, and it's all encased inside a titanium, leather clad body shell.

According to the website Vertu, the Aster runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system which helps the user to perform a faster multi-tasking. The Snapdragon 801 processor running at 2.3GHz powers the Aster, which makes the task easier and faster. The Aster is accompanied by 64 GB of internal memory.

In terms of camera, the Aster "tuned cameras to an HD display and flawless sapphire screen," and it offers 13 MP on its main camera with autofocus and a twin LED flash, and it offers 21 megapixel front-facing camera which is ideal Skype calls and to take selfie as well.

Furthermore, the Aster offers an excellent speaker, noise cancelling tech, microphones and a front facing stereo speakers and Dolby Digital Plus for optimum audio performance. Other features of Vertu's new phone include global 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0 and an extensive array of supported languages.

The battery capacity is 2275 mAh Li-ion battery which can last up to 15 hours and 30 minutes of talk time and 380 hours when it is on stand-by mode.

The Vertu Aster is quite expensive, prices start at around $6,800 and rise to $9,550 for the most expensive Ostrich leather model.
