Carlton Cuse Believes It’s “Inevitable” That LOST Will Return!

Lost - an adventure TV series premiered and was originally aired on American Broadcasting Company (ABC). The show aired on TV from September 22, 2004 to May 23, 2010, with six seasons and 121 episodes. Lost redefined event network TV storytelling, a standard that cable channels have grasped. They have ushered-in a brand-new golden age of determined character-oriented tv series. Numerous fans of 'Lost' were highly disappointed by how it all ended as fans who were waiting to watch what happens to their loved Flight 316 survivors, show runners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse also added unmatched amount of mythology.

Apparently, the series added more mysteries than it was able to effectively address in a six season run. This is exactly the reason why some viewers as well as people involved in the show have contemplated that Disney would sooner or later revive the show in order to tell further stories of the mysterious island and ofcourse make more profit on the concept.

Damon Lindelof who shares story-writing credits with Carlton Cuse for the pilot episode of Lost, said he believed that the show will return in some form but he did not intend to contribute. Lindelof said that his team presented the story the way they wanted to present it and he, unlike Jack didn't feel compelled to "go back."

Cuse too have expressed similar emotions in the past, however he revisited the topic in an interview with Digital Spy - he stated that it's "inevitable" that Lost will return.

He said "Disney owns the franchise, it made them a lot of money, it's hard to imagine it will just sit there idly forever. Damon (Lindelof) and I told our story in that world and I assume someone will come along, hopefully having been inspired by our story, or our version of the story, and want to tell their own story.

It's like the Narnia chronicles. There are [seven] books, they were all written by CS Lewis, but they all visit Narnia at different times and different configurations and different ways. Someone is going to come up with a way to tell another Lost story. I think it's inevitable. I don't know what it is or how it would work, but I can't imagine something else won't be done with the franchise."
