Dakota Johnson boyfriend break up has been flying around Hollywood. ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ star and her boyfriend Matt Hitt have not been seen together in ages, specifically since the day that the trailer for the racy movie came out earlier this summer. If they did break up, was it because of Dakota Johnson’s discussion of Jamie Dornan and ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ with her father Don Johnson?

‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ actress and her father Don met up in West Hollywood this week for a catch-up session. Though Dakota Johnson forbid her parents to watch the raciest movie to come out of Hollywood yet, it looks like she hasn’t totally cut them out of her life.

Her parents, who are award-winning actors themselves, have only shown strong support for their daughter’s choice of performance.

According to Daily Mail, her father Don specifically said, “This is what we do, and I am absolutely certain that Dakota will take a piece of material and a character which a lot of people might imagine could be inappropriate in some ways and turn it into something spectacular.

“Speaking like a proud father and also a seasoned professional, I can tell you that she is a gifted, gifted actress and this will just be one part in a long line of tremendous performances in her career.”

But it looks like the 25-year-old actress and Don Johnson’s conversation veered towards her personal life as well. Maybe they got to discuss the men that were involved in her life.

The fact that Dakota Johnson’s boyfriend Matt Hitt hasn’t been seen with her in public for months makes us think that they silently broke their relationship off. Seeing how ‘21 Jump Street’ actress dived into the new relationship with Matt Hitt right after her break up with Jordan Masterson, maybe the decision to date was too hasty.
