J.K. Rowling Alludes To Upcoming Book Releases In Cryptic Twitter Post; Harry Potter To Return?

J.K. Rowling's Twitter account has been updated after a short period of dormancy and the "Harry Potter" author, as usual, set fans raving about the message.

After previously dropping hints, J.K. Rowling's Twitter account is the talk of the town once more as the author's latest message alluded to book releases, which fans took as a hint at Harry's comeback.

Rowling posted about her latest shenanigans, citing them as the reasons why she was inactive in the social media account, saying: "Very busy at the moment working on a novel, tweaking a screenplay and being involved in @lumos campaigns. Back when I've finished something."

While the screenplay she mentioned doesn't need to be guessed as it is for "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," the first installment of a three-part movie series she's working on for Warner Bros pictures, the book she referred to left fans puzzled.

Rowling wrote a status with an anagram after responding to a fan, saying she was tempted to do just that after learning that fans have been thoroughly piqued by her previous message. "Cry, foe! Run amok! Fa awry! My wand won't tolerate this nonsense," the tweet read.

Fans were more than eager to analyze the tweet and one user replied with her best guess, saying: "OMG! Anagram the phrase would be: 'Harry returns. Won't say any details now. A week off. No comment!"

This has raised questions of whether Harry would make a cameo in the movie Rowling is writing or if there would be a new book about the "Boy Who Lived."

Rowling, who tweeted that she posted the anagram as "something to ponder while [she's] away," could not help but post a message about the influx of fan replies about Harry. "'Newt Scamander's History of New York Fauna: One town, my tale' Warmer," read the tweet posted on October 7.

After dropping another subtle hint in a reply to a fan's tweet, J.K. Rowling's Twitter was updated with the last message about the project, saying: "#helpfulhint The solution is the first sentence of a synopsis of Newt's story. It isn't part of the script, but sets the scene."
