New "Vampire Diaries" season 6, episode 2 spoilers reveal that Caroline and Enzo will go on a road trip to try to figure out how to get Damon and Bonnie back, but instead they stumble upon Stefan! According to the promo photos, Caroline and Enzo aren't as happy as one would think to reunite with the other Salvatore brother.

According to Wetpaint, the synopsis for "Vampire Diaries" season 6, episode 2, titled "Yellow Ledbetter," reads: "Knowing she needs to come to terms with the loss of Damon (Ian Somerhalder), Elena (Nina Dobrev) turns to Alaric (Matt Davis) to help her move on with her life. Enzo convinces Caroline to join him as he tracks down a lead to get Damon and Bonnie (Kat Graham) back, but Caroline is shocked when they make an unexpected detour and uncover what Stefan has been up to. Meanwhile, Matt worries about Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) who is spending time with Sarah (guest star Gabrielle Walsh), a mysterious girl who has recently arrived in Mystic Falls. Elsewhere, Tripp, leader of the community protection program, makes an interesting confession to Matt about his connection to the town. Lastly, with the Other Side destroyed and gone for good, Damon and Bonnie reluctantly band together to uncover the mystery of where they are and how they are going to get back home."

Instead of figuring out how to get Damon back, they find Stefan - and according to the promo photos it doesn't look like a warm reunion.

In this photo, Caroline stands in the home where Stefan has been staying and her body language says it all: crossed arms, stiff shoulders - she's had enough of Stefan's "other life."

In this photo, Enzo is making it a little more clear that he's unhappy with Stefan - he's stuck a knife right through Stefan's hand during dinner!

Looks like nobody is letting Stefan forget that he abandoned his friends in "Vampire Diaries" season 6, episode 2. The episode airs Thursday, October 9 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
