What happened of Marvel's "Agents of Shield" last week? What should we look forward to for tonight's episode and the rest of the first season? Warning: spoilers ahead!

According to Fansided, "Say it ain't so! Please don't tell me that Agent Simmons has switched sides and is working for Hydra. That sure is what we're being led to believe in clips for tonight's new episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., entitled "Making Friends and Influencing People." Jemma Simmons has been conspicuously absent from the first two episodes except as a figment of Leo Fitz's imagination, with the other members of the team only making casual mentions of how she left them. It seems too obvious to have a main cast member swap allegiances after Grant Ward did the same thing last year, so there's something else going on here. Maybe it's brainwashing, or maybe Director Coulson has Simmons working undercover. That would be slightly out of character for her, but as we're seeing in Season 2, the new status quo of S.H.I.E.L.D. is bringing out new sides of everyone. Also, hearing that Simmons has gone to the dark side would probably shatter Fitz's already fragile mind, and that just seems too cruel even for the darker turn this show has taken overall. Donnie Gill, last seen in Season 1 developing the abilities that earn him the code name Blizzard in comics, is also a central part of tonight's plot, as revealed in the official ABC synopsis. Other things to keep in mind for tonight: Now that we've seen Kyle MacLachlan for the first time as Skye's father, will we learn more about him and his plans? Has Coulson done enough to broker peace with General Talbot for the time being, or will the military continue to hunt down S.H.I.E.L.D.? Is Ward going to be doing his Hannibal Lecter routine again? Plenty of intrigue to go around, for sure. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will hopefully answer some of these questions tonight at 9 pm on ABC."
