‘Game Of Thrones’ Cast Cersei Lannister’s ‘Walk Of Shame’ Confirmed! How Much Did The Team Pay To Ensure Lena Headey’s Nude Scene Won’t Be Leaked?

HBO did not mind paying a hefty amount of cash just to ensure that Cersei Lannister's "walk of shame" scene won't leak. As per reports gathered by the Huffington Post, the team paid up to $50,000 per day for the four-day shoot.

TMZ claims that such amount has been necessary because over 200 security guards were hired to monitor the area and ward off uninvited eyewitnesses. Local shop owners were similarly paid to temporarily close and leave the area. Mobile phones were banned and those who needed to be present in the set were asked to sign confidentiality papers. Breaking the agreement may cost someone $250,000 in penalties.

Cersei Lannister's nude scene is a pivotal part of George R.R. Martin's "Game of Thrones" series. In the books, the formerly proud and regal queen was tasked by the High Septon to walk naked from the Great Sept of Baelor to the Red Keep in front of cheering crowds.

Lena Headey already had her hair chopped short for the scene. Cersei Lannister's nude scene also involves a church setting. Croatian film commissioners originally refused to issue permits for filming but both sides were able to find a compromise.

Headey won't still be allowed to walk naked in a place of worship although the producers were allowed to create a fake set for the nude scenes.
