Venture Capital Post reports that Ryan Gosling's girlfriend has been dreaming to name her first child Valentina. However, her friend Salma Hayek allegedly stole the name when she used it for her daughter with Francois Henri-Pinault.

When news about Eva Mendes' pregnancy came out, rumors surfaced that the two planned on naming their child Thomas, Gosling's middle name, if he's a boy. If the baby is a girl, rumors suggested that the two would name her Donna or Coral after the mothers of Gosling and Mendes.

Nonetheless, it does not change the fact that Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes baby is well-loved. One insider claims that the "Crazy Stupid Love" actor is "madly in love with the baby. He changed diapers and assisted with the baby's first bath. He had tears in his eyes when the baby was born."

Juan Carlos Mendes also said the same thing to In Touch Weekly magazine: "They're great parents. Ryan's going to be a great father. He's just such a down-to-earth, nice guy. You couldn't ask for anything better."
