iPhone 6 Release Date Now Hitting India, Pre-Orders Expected To Spike As Apple's Biggest Smartphones Prepare To Arrive In Asian Sub-Continent

Ever since the new Apple smartphones were announced, a lot of people have already been waiting for the iPhone 6 release date in their respective countries.

India may not be among those where the new smartphones were launched initially, but that does not mean it would take more than a month before pre-orders begin.

According to a report by GSM Arena, pre-orders have just begun in India for people who want to get their hands on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus when both devices hit the market on October 17.

Interestingly, October 17 is just the day after Apple unveils its new tablets such as the iPad mini 3, iPad Air and even some updated versions of the iMac and Mac mini.

In the report, the iPhone 6 price begins at INR 53,500 for the 16GB edition, while the 6 Plus will cost much higher at INR 62,500. The 64GB versions for both devices are priced at INR 62,500 and 71,500 respectively, while the 128GB built in storage options for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus cost INR 71,500 and 80,500 respectively.

Both the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are the most expensive iPhones ever to be released by Apple, and the pricing can even go higher depending on tax and subsidy requirements of each market.

In spite all of the 'scandals' that are floating all over the Web about the new iPhones, its sales remain consistently high in the past few weeks.
