Faking It Season 2: It's Shane VS. Karma! Buffy's Nicholas Brendon To Guest Star On The Show

"Faking It" season 2 proves to be full of surprises. And while the show progresses slowly in terms of the revelation about Amy and Liam's secret, it's still action and drama-packed.

One of the many things we can expect from "Faking It" season 2 are the confrontations between characters as secrets get revealed and side stories unravel. For one, Shane and Karma get on a row about the latter's secret.

In an interview with Hollywood Life, Michael J. Willett, who plays Shane, discusses the confrontation between his character and Karma (Katie Stevens). "Shane ends up confronting Karma because of her involvement in the drama in the first place," he says.

While we have seen how Amy (Rita Volk) and Liam (Gregg Sulkin)'s story panned out and how it ended surprisingly in Amy's bedroom, Karma isn't exactly out of the picture. Karma didn't tell Liam about her pseudo-relationship with Amy and this led to Shane, who happens to be Liam's best friend, to not be fond of her.

In the show's third episode, Shane confronts Karma at Hester's Brazilian carnival and after their heated argument plants a kiss on her lips. Before the kiss, he said: "You used your witchy ways and made my two favorite people fall for you."

Things have just become a little more confusing. "There's definitely trust issues between Liam and Shane," Willett adds.

While conversations get heated up, more people to add to the intensity of the show will reportedly come in.

According to a report from TVLine, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" alum Nicholas Brandon has been tapped for a guest role on the show. Brandon will reportedly play the character of Jackson Lee, a Hestor High alum who is now a professional artist. Lee will become a mentor to Liam.

"Faking It" season 2 airs Tuesdays on MTV.
