Here is the comparison of Nokia Lumia 525 and Nokia XL in terms of their display, memory, performance and camera quality according to the report of the Fuse Joplin and Phone Arena.

Display

The Nokia XL comes in a 6-inch display, it might be the reason why it suffers from poor pixel density stats. On the other hand, the Nokia Lumia 525 comes in 4-inch display.

The Lumia 525 and Nokia XL have the same resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and used the same technology which is IPS LCD. Both smartphones offer light sensor and proximity. But the Nokia Lumia 525 is scratch-resistant glass compared to the Nokia XL.

 Memory

 The Nokia XL offers a 4 GB built-in storage memory and 768 MB RAM, while the Nokia Lumia 525 offers a bigger memory of 8 GB built-in storage and a 1 GB RAM. It also gets a bit in front due to the support to memory cars of up to 64 GB unlike the Nokia XL that supports 32 GB only.

Performance

The Lumia 525 runs of Windows Phone 8 operating system while the Nokia XL is Android Nokia X 1.0 UI. Both smartphones use a dual core 1 GHz processor, but when it comes to performance, Lumia 525 is better because of its latest OS.

Camera

The Nokia XL offers a 5MP and the front-facing camera offers a 2MP and features video sharing, autofocus, face detection, ISO control, white balance presets, digital zoom and panorama. On the other hand the Lumia 525 also offers a 5MP rear facing camera and it has camera features the same with Nokia XL but it does not have a LED flash.

The Lumia 525 costs $145 while the Nokia XL costs $180.
