The Xbox 360 title "Battlefield: Bad Company 2" became available for 0 Microsoft Point on October 1 as one of the free games for Xbox Live Gold members. The first-person shooter video game is usually worth $19.99 and will be free until October 15.

As described on the game's official website, "Battlefield Bad Company^TM 2 brings the spectacular Battlefield gameplay to the forefront of next-gen consoles and PC, featuring best-in-class vehicular combat set across a wide range of huge sandbox maps each with a different tactical focus."

On October 16, Battlefield Bad Company 2 will be replaced by another one of the listed free games for Xbox Live Gold members, the Darksiders 2, which is regularly priced at $49.99.
