BoA talked about her 12th anniversary since her debut. 

BoA said on KBS 2TV "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook," "It's been 13 years since I've started my activities." This year is BoA's 12 year anniversary since her debut.

BoA said, "Honestly, I didn't know that I would have activities for so long. I am an idol singer and a singer. It's because I can cross between any music genre."

She added, "In the beginning, when I debut, I thought a large majority of singers had a contract for 5 years. I thought, 'I would probably end in 5 years too.' My domain became wider and many people liked me, so i thought, 'I want to do music until I die.' I'm a happy person. It's rare to do what you love and receive love at the same time," and showed her thankfulness of her fans.
