BTS Release Epic Video For ‘Intro’ Featuring Choreography From The MBC Year-End Festival

On January 8, BTS (Bangtan Boys) have released a video featuring the choreography from their New Year’s Eve performance at MBC Gayo Daejun for their fans.

The choreography incorpates the mix of African American step interspersed with Korean hip-hop dance. BTS also include formation lines consistent with cheer dance in the routine.

Set against an austere background, the members of BTS deliver their complex choreography while dressed in white, military costumes. The group executes their moves with precise synchronicity interspersed with explosive steps.

The routine is punctuated with the hip-hop rock track "Rollin" from Limp Bizkit prior to another step routine.

BTS released their first studio album “Dark & Wild” in August 2014. The group returned to their hip-hop roots with the album while attracting new fans with their hit song “Danger.”

BTS received acclaim for their “Intro” performance at the MBC year-end music festival, which is exemplified by the release of their latest video. Through their unique choreography and their solid rap rhymes, BTS continues to set themselves apart from other K-pop male groups.

MBC Gayo Daejun or the year-end festival was held on December 31, 2014. The festival contained some of the most sophisticated K-pop performances of 2014.
