Good news Final Fantasy fans as a new footage for "Final Fantasy XV" has been revealed on Taipei Game Show 2015.

Square Enix has a slew of major games this year as Examiner.com reports that they are preparing show off some upcoming titles on major gamiing evernts such as E3 2015.

According to reports from CrunchyRoll, Square Enix showed off some new details and gameplay for Final Fantasy XV in Taipei Game Show last week. The footage below features a new area in the game, and a new feature called "CatCam" that lets players explore the environment by using well, a cat.

CatCam is more agile as compared to previously shown Dog Cam.

Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata also announced a collaboration with a Taiwanese development firm called XPEC at the gaming event, on Feb. 2 as LoadTheGame.com cited that Tabata revealed that he had help for finishing the game as the FFXV was such a "large scale project." XPEC CEO Xu Jinlong and Chairman Aaron Hsu explained their excitement on being a part of the development.

LoadTheGame.com furher adds that XPEC is working mostly on the second half of the game as they weren't able to show off much of their work. Nevertheless, XPEC was involved in the demo for the new location showcased at the same time. Prior to switching to control of a cat, still-in-progress, train station environment was first shown from protagonist Noctis's point of view.

The dog cam was first featured on the town of Restarg at Jump Festa in December, as it shows a new way to explore some new locations in the game. Apparently, the new cat cam video was the joking idea of XPEC. Its atleast an improvement in terms of completely exploring a location, considering cats can get to numerous places that a dog can't.

XPEC is not the only outside help that Square Enix is recruiting. Final Fantasy forum site Nova Crystallis claimed that producer Shinji Hashimoto publicized Wan Hazmer as the lead game designer for open environments in the game at the last Comic Festa in Malaysia in December. Perhaps, this could be an attempt to pick up some local publicity across the globe to go along with Final Fantasy XV's possible simultaneous worldwide release.

Judging by all the help assembling, it seems safe to say that the game is nearing on its finishing touches after been in development for seemingly ages.
