Singer and actor Choi Siwon is poised to become 'the next Dok Go Jin.' 

Super Junior member Choi Siwon made his first appearance on Monday's episode of SBS drama "The King of Dramas" as Korean star Kang Hyun Min.

Kang Hyun Min is a star who has stolen Asia with his image of intelligence and sophistication. Lee Go Eun (Jung Ryeo Won) looked at his pictures and could only see his public image.

The viewer's first met him during a scene of a fan meeting, where he played the piano and sang "You Raise Me Up." Though it was not live, he definitely seemed to look the part, at the least.

The other characters in the drama describe him as, "an actor who only cares about money and is stupid and thinks he's the best." Anthony Kim (Kim Myung Min) also coerces him into appearing in his drama with the promise of the highest pay.

Kang Hyun Min is even more torn when Oh Jin Wan (Jung Man Sik) from Jaeguk Productions also offers him another role. He seemed selfish as he canceled a philanthropy event to figure out what to do.

He asks his manager to read the script and asks for his opinion saying, "Would I have hired you if I could pick out a good script?" When both sides break out in a war to cast him, he abandons it all and escapes to play video games in a cabin.

Choi Siwon was seen topless and marveling at himself in the mirror, which was the highlight of his comic acting. His self-absorbed rants about how good looking he is made everyone laugh.

Many top star characters in dramas make it clear that though they may appear perfect to fans, they're all very flawed and very selfish. Previously in MBC's "The Greatest Love" Dok Go Jin (Cha Seung Won) was made immortal for such a portrayal. 

It is similar to that of SBS "My Love, Lady Butterfly" Nam Na Bi (Yeom Jung Ah) and SBS PLUS "Full House Take 2" Kang Hui (Park Ki Woong). 

Choi Siwon, who transformed his regularly serious image with this comical appearance, received positive reviews from the fans.
